Our Biography

Born in Brittany, France. Michel, got his start in photography as a photographer’s assistant in Paris with renowned photographer George Tourdjman.

He then spent two years in San Francisco, where he earned the Merit Award Scholarship of the Academy of Art University.

He returned to Paris, assisting for Paris Vogue then in the golden era of Guy Bourdin, Helmut Newton, Albert Watson and Georges Hurrel.

Michel started out his professional career taking pictures for advertising clients before going onto work for publications such as, American Vogue, ID magazine, Elle and Internationnal publications, Italian Vogue, Marie Claire photographing fashion, beauty and celebrities.

He will patiently fix and re-fix that loose strand of your hair that stubbornly keeps falling into your face, tweak the lighting again and again until it falls on you just right, cheerfully take 100 pictures just to keep one, and calmly guide you so you feel at ease every step of the way. 5 stars all around for Michel and team. We did a pregnancy photoshoot in a studio, and didn't know much about how to proceed. He made it all quite simple. Photography was amazing. Did a great job with lighting, angles and guiding us through different poses. He was very detailed oriented but not overwhelming either. Had a highly supportive attitude through the process from setting up to execution. Communicated very well throughout our time together too. After the shoot we got photos to finalize and then final copies seamlessly. Highly recommend Micel, we hope to have him capture many memories over the upcoming years.
