About Michel Nafziger

Michel Nafziger is a French-born photographer whose work spans fashion, beauty, advertising, and celebrity portraiture.

Originally from Brittany, Michel began his career in Paris as an assistant to renowned photographer George Tourdjman.

He later honed his craft at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he was awarded the Merit Award Scholarship.

Returning to Paris, Michel worked with French Vogue during a golden era of fashion photography, assisting photographers such, Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, Albert Watson, George Hurrell to name a few.

Over the years, Michel’s work has been featured in leading publications, including American Vogue, Italian Condé Nast, i-D Magazine, French Elle, Marie Claire and various international editions.

His visual style has shaped world wide advertising campaigns for brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Marithé & François Girbaud, Guy Laroche, and Hanro of Switzerland, Function of Beauty to name a few. His Fashion website is available upon request.

  • Booking is a seamless process. You may contact me via my website or text my phone number. We can set time for a brief conversation to ascertain your desired outcome, we will then schedule a shooting date. Additionally, I will oversee the creative planning.

  • My website provides an overview of my professional work. I collaborate closely with clients to translate their ideas and concepts into purposeful imagery for corporate teams companies of any size and individuals.

  • My quotes are transparent and customized based on the nature of the shoot, the number of individuals involved, the duration, and the location. I can tailor packages for multiple days, large groups of employees, or for a single individual seeking luxury branding, for instance. Please refer to my price lists for a comprehensive overview.

  • To confirm a booking, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance is due upon the completion of the shoot and before the delivery of final images. Payments can be made via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or credit card. A 3.5% processing fee applies to card payments. Digital files are delivered through a secure cloud folder via WeTransfer or Dropbox. Depending on the size of the project, delivery time is within 24 hours to 72 hours.

  • Yes, while I am based in New York, I can travel nationally and internationally for all assignments. I am bilingual in French and English and have traveled extensively in Europe and the United States.
